Alison Robertson
Alison Robertson (nee McGowan) from Hamilton, joined Highland Stoneware in 1988 and was initially trained as a maker, which involved fettling, jolleying and extruding. She now spends the majority of her time dealing with the quality-control, packing and administration involved in supplying our many mail-order and web customers. Her computer skills also meant that she has made a valuable contribution in uploading information to our website.
Alison has also spent a substantial amount of time working with visiting students and artists on our ever-increasing outdoor mosaic designs.
In her spare time, Alison loves to travel overseas, but when confined to the country can be found attending various events where her musical husband is performing with his band.
