Andrew McClelland
Andrew McClelland, born in Lochinver, left school in 1996 and shortly afterwards began working at Highland Stoneware where he trained and excelled as a glazer for several years.
In 2000 he felt the need to expand his horizons and train in new skills and so spent several years travelling and working in America and Canada, and returning to Scotland trained as a forestry ranger whilst studying an HNC in Gamekeeping.
In 2007, Andrew realised that he couldn't stay away from us any longer and returned to take up a new role working mainly on the extruder where he makes and finishes an ever expanding range of shapes. At the same time, Andrew's good nature means he is always willing to help out wherever assistance is required - a true gentleman!
In his free time, Andrew prefers to be outdoors, and can be found out on the hills, walking, hunting, fishing and mountainbiking, or in the sea, surfing and snorkelling. Indoors, he'll happily tackle a bit of DIY.
